Non je ne suis pas photographe professionnel, ni renommé. Je ne me considère même pas comme artiste.

Je suis un amateur qui veut juster capter l’éphémère des choses sur la pellicule ou le capteur de l’appareil photo. Je veux juste fixer avec un souci d’esthétique de l’image, les situations, les lieux ou les gens qui dans l’instantanéité du moment, m’ont touché. Tout s’évanouit après avoir appuyé sur le déclencheur.

Je suis le temps d’une pose, soit souvent un bref laps de temps instant, un témoin d’une lumière particulière, d’une atmosphère, d’une situation, d’un regard ou d’un geste qui disparaissent l’instant d’après dans le continuum du temps.

L’image produite est là pour conserver cet instant, pour s’en rappeler.

No I am not a professional photographer, nor a famous one. I don’t even consider myself as an artist.

I am an amateur who wants just capture the ephemeral of things on the film or the camera sensor. I just want to fix with an aesthetic concern for the image, situations, places or people who in the instantaneousness of the moment have touched me. Everything vanishes after pressing the shutter button.

I am the time of a pose, that is often a brief instant, a witness of a particular light, an atmosphere, a situation, a look or a gesture that disappears the next moment in the continuum of time.

The produced image is there to preserve this moment, to remember it.
